01 The sneak-peek
Uniting 40 nations through design
For Forum Création Africa Lagos 2025 — a pan-African forum convening over 1,000 delegates from more than 40 countries — we created the complete visual identity, from logo to venue: a system that spoke French, English, and the shared language of African creativity.
02 The liminal moment
Forum Création Africa is the biannual pan-African forum — rotating between cities — where creative and cultural industries meet across continents. Its 2025 Lagos edition was a meeting-point with unusual weight: a diplomatic initiative backed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nigerian Federal Government and Lagos State, convening more than 1,000 delegates from over 40 countries, in two languages. The work had to do more than dress an event. The identity needed to resonate equally with government officials, creative entrepreneurs and international delegates; to celebrate Lagos's creative energy while sitting within the wider MansA and Création Africa identities; and to hold together across borders, languages and touchpoints. The brief was the forum's identity, from logo to venue. The deeper task was to give a continental gathering a face equal to the ambition of the creative economy it convenes.

03 The transformation
We started by immersing ourselves — in Lagos's creative landscape and the Franco-African diplomatic context. That cultural intelligence shaped every decision, from colour to typography, so the identity honoured Nigerian creative energy while serving stakeholders across government, business and the creative sector.
We carried the identity from arrival to departure. Lanyards, wristbands and tote bags; an immersive venue with directional signage; even the snack boxes, mugs and power banks. With our Nigerian production partner Livespot, every physical touchpoint met international standards while drawing on local expertise.
We held one system across wildly different applications — from a ten-second billboard animation for Lagos commuters to the delegate certificates handed over at the closing ceremony. Whether a delegate met the forum in Lagos, Paris, Dakar or Berlin, online or in person, it read as one confident whole.

04 The craft
One system, every surface
The identity travelled across borders, languages and touchpoints without losing itself — digital, print and physical, French and English, billboard to certificate. The craft lay not in any single piece but in the coherence of the whole

05 The transformation of purpose
The work held where it mattered: a continental gathering that looked the part of its ambition. The forum connected creative entrepreneurs with European partners, hosted more than 300 business meetings, and put African creative excellence in front of officials, investors and cultural leaders from around the world — met, in every city and on every screen, by an identity equal to the creative economy it celebrates.
